With 33 years in the Maritime Industry, he has gained extensive experience in on-board as well as Remote audits for all kinds of vessels, and attended more than 300 vessels for Pre Vetting including board Marine audits Since 2008, he has also completed more than 600 Remote VDR audits and 300 plus External Remote Navigational Audits for various clients. He even worked as part-time faculty in Maritime institutes in past and has been an active consultant in the Training department also.
Nitin has been out at sea for 20 years and holds Vast experience in sailing as a Master on board. He holds vast experience in attending more than 50 vessels for board Pre vetting as well as various kinds of Audits, and Onboard training, Experienced in more than 80 VDR and more than 35 Remote Navigational Audits. Very active and desired On board trainer and auditor, Certified ISM/ISPS/MLC Auditor.
With 40 years in the industry he is a very Well Experienced Master Mariner. He is a very well experienced Master product / crude tanker/ bulk carrier / Cement carrier/barges/tug on International Voyages.
He had also been multitasking in the past, working as nautical faculty at Great Eastern Institute of Maritime Studies, Lonavala, sailing as Master for short passages or Matrix Master as required on tankers worldwide, working as a cadet training officer on season management vessels, making short voyages on barges around Indian coast / PG.
He has also worked as an internal auditor in training institutes and ships. H has been teaching online to pre-sea and post-sea students to Master Level candidates, for MASSA Chennai, AMET, Anglo Eastern, etc.
